This incredible family is not just friends, but Kimmy also had two of my daughters in her 5th grade class. Amazing teacher by the way!  I just adore her whole family.  After talking with Kimmy we decided to do her family portraits in Carlsbad.  Beach pictures with toddlers are always so much fun.  What could be better than sand and water right?!   Capturing them run around and play with James in the water is what these lifestyle beach sessions are all about.  Let me tell you, James had no fear of the water what so ever! This is a special session because it is the last time this family would take pictures as a family of three.  That’s right, they are expecting a baby girl!  When these pictures were taken it was hush hush, but because I take forever to blog, the cat is out of the bag.  James is going to be the best big brother!  Congratulations Okerson family, I cannot wait to meet your sweet baby girl!
